A Child Lost in The Train

 

Characters

Jake – A nine years school going boy, who is very naughty and indisciplined child. He lived with his mother in New Jersey.

Vincy – Jake’s mom an artist. She is always worried about Jake.

Brie – Jake’s aunt and very old friend of Vincy. She is very lenient but has a great knowledge of all general things and she is very clever. Jake spends most of his time with his aunt (Brie) only.

Grandfather – A very sweet, gentle and polite man who is Jake’s grandfather. He is ready to do all the works even if he is very tired though he is a senior citizen.

 

 

“Jake’s mom receives a letter from Brie that, she is going to Texas by plane on Friday and is inviting Jake and Vincy as he is not getting any guest house there but Jake’s grandfather lives there, so Brie thinks that she can stay there for two days.”

 

 

Vincy – Jake where are you? Where are you Jake? It’s a good news.

Jake – I am here mamma.

Vincy –  Here where?

Jake – I am changing my clothes.

Vincy – Come out quickly it’s a good news.

Jake – Oh! I know your good news, is it that a mother dog has given

            Pups I am fed up of seeing them when you will bring those ones

            at our home.

Vincy – Oh my lord! Jake you just come out.

Jake – You just tell me from there what is that news.

Vincy – Okay the news is that we are going to Texas at grandfather’s     

              place by plane with aunt Brie.

Jake – Are you kidding me! Are we going by plane?

Vincy – Yes its true we are going by plane on the coming Friday for

              three days.

 

“Jake jumped up and came out from the changing room with a lot of  

joy.”

 

 

Jake – Wow I can’t wait I am starting my packing now only.

Vincy – Wait Jake wait! We have to move on the early morning of the

               Friday so we will start our packing tomorrow.

 

“Jake said very sadly”

 

Jake – Uuuummm! Okay.

“On Friday morning aunt Brie came to Jake’s house with his back pack and then they did a cab to reach the airport.”

 

“After two hours coming to airport they sat in the flight. It was the fifth time when Jake was travelling in the flight, he watched some cartoon movies in flight and then fell into a deep sleep. Vincy and Brie were chatting with each other for around 4 hours, then their destination came. Jake’s grandfather was waiting for them outside the airport. Soon they reached to their grandfather’s house. Brie then went for his work.”

 

“After reaching his grandfather’s house Jake made new friends and all day long he played with his friends and watched T.V.”

 

“Vincy said angrily…….”

 

Vincy – Jake! Don’t you have any other things to do ? Read some

              stories. If you don’t want to read them why did you brought

              them with you.             

Grandfather – Oh! Let him do what he wants he is a child only.

Vincy – Hmm this time your grandfather saved you. But tomorrow you

              can’t do all these things.

Jake – Why???

Vincy – Because we are going to home tomorrow.

 

 

“Jake made a sad face for ten minutes and then forgot all the things and started playing with his friend.”

 

 

“Next morning Brie, Jake and Vincy were all set to go to home. First they have to go by metro train to the airport and then they will reach to New Jersey again. The grandfather dropped them outside the metro station. But they got late by 5 minutes. When they reached their train just departured. But they had a good luck that the next train was going to arrive in 10 minutes which will drop them to the airport.

 

“The next train arrived Jake was holding his mom’s hand when he saw the train he said….”

 

Jake – Hurry up mamma the train’s door will close soon.

 

“While saying that he entered in the train and the door closed leaving behind Vincy and Brie! Now Jake realized his mistake that because of his impatience he is now in a trouble. He was alone in a crowded train and don’t know what to do now as everybody there were strangers to him. Without wasting any time Brie put his hand between the train doors and luckily the doors opened again. Brie and Vincy both entered in the train and took a long breath. And then suddenly Jake started crying and Vincy hugged him tightly and then Jake said while crying…..”

 

Jake – “Sorry mamma. Sorry. I realized my mistake and in future will

            never leave your hand in any crowd without your consent.”

Vincy – It’s okay baby.

 

“And then Vincy thanked Brie.”
